Beehive Bartender Series: Amaro dell’Etna

Join us on February 23rd as we showcase the beloved Italian staple, Amaro dell’Etna which was introduced in the U.S. for the first time in 2017! Our experienced bartenders have crafted an exclusive cocktail list available only for this event. Enjoy your cocktails as you listen to the blues stylings of Bruce Bears on Sunday evening.


The recipe for Amaro dell’Etna, which includes bitter orange peel, licorice and vanilla, dates back to 1901 and calls for more than 26 all-natural ingredients—many of which thrive in the soil at the base of Mount Etna in Sicily. The herbaceous blend is macerated then matured for two months, emerging bittersweet, bright and balanced. Full of tart rhubarb and spiced with cinnamon, this amaro finishes with a smoky minerality that harkens back to its volcanic origins. Excellent for sipping solo, it would also make nice in any of these after-dinner drinks.
